Children’s birthday party entertainment rates typically range from $500 to $750, plus HST, depending on the type of performance and the entertainment options selected. For the best experience, we recommend setting aside a clear performance area of approximately 8 ft. × 8 ft., with a wall behind Mr. Smith and the children seated directly in front. Chairs or couches are ideal when possible, as they help children see the magic more clearly. Please remove coffee tables, toys, balloons, and other distractions from the area so everyone can focus on the fun. We also recommend keeping the room free from eating and unnecessary conversations during the show.

We recommend scheduling the show at least 15 minutes after your guests’ arrival time to allow everyone to settle in. Mr. Smith typically needs about 20 minutes to set up and another 20 minutes to pack up after the performance.

Indoor performances are always preferred. However, if your party must take place outdoors, the performance area needs to be sheltered from wind, rain, and direct sun. A 10 ft. × 10 ft. canopy tent can be provided for an additional $50. A non-refundable 50% deposit is required to book an outdoor show.

We recommend booking Mr. Smith four to six weeks before your event to help ensure availability. However, dates can fill up quickly, especially during busy seasons, so we encourage you to reach out as early as possible. If your party is coming up soon, feel free to contact us, and we’ll be happy to check availability!
